Those who have the opportunity to closely scrutinize Lyli might notice that she seems to be sick or intoxicated. She's persistently sweaty, teary-eyed, seems to have trouble sitting still, and always has dark, sleep-deprived circles lingering beneath her eyes.

Aether-sensitive or Aether-sighted characters might notice that Lyli's aether signature shows signs of illness or corruption. Her aura is blurry, translucent, and strangely homogenous; it's impossible to tell her various (physical, mental, metaphysical) aethers apart... a quality usually observed in Ashkin.

Plot Hooks

Witch - An empath with a natural aptitude for mimicking magic, Lyli used her talents to heal people & creatures alike... and had to flee Ishgard as a Heretic in her youth.Veteran - After fleeing Ishgard, Lyli ended up as a conscript of the Immortal Flames. She killed a lot of Garleans during the war, and likely has a few grudges against her.Monstress - A true blue mage, Lylisandre spends the majority of her time among wild monsters, or reading books about them to better understand their ecology. She has a particular fondness of green cave slimes.Bleeding Heart - A healer who can't cure herself, some strange malady afflicts Lyli. She hemorrhages aether with every action, and her eerie green spells leave behind a sticky residue where she's been.The Echo reacts oddly to Lylisandre. Those with the Blessing of Light tend to receive surreal hallucinations from her; nothing resembling an actual memory.

The Player

My real name is Rose, and I was born in '91. I'm a happily married, polyamorous Trans-lesbian stoner from Louisiana (though I now live in the Pacific Northwest). I'm a dog mom to three adorable/awful little gremlins.My favorite hobby is playing Pen-and-Paper RPGs (whether that's D&D, World of Darkness, Mutants & Masterminds, or some random homebrew system). I've been running campaigns & roleplay events through various mediums for 15 years, and my goal as a Storyteller is to simply ensure everyone is having fun.I like writing Horror, Fantasy, and Sci-fi stories which emphasize the ups and downs of life, highlighting both comedy & tragedy or beauty & terror. I believe that conflict of some kind (even internal emotional conflict) is necessary to drive stories forward & create character development. Failure is an important character beat that can often make situations interesting.I always try to avoid breaking the 4th wall or allowing my character 'metagame' knowledge. If there's a chance of my character failing at an action, I prefer to simply resolve it with a contested /dice roll-off between the involved characters.Lastly, I view the lore of any setting as a set of paintbrushes & colors provided to storytellers, which we use to illustrate our stories.
